Silverstein Hebrew Academy is an early childhood-grade 8 school Yeshiva Day School in Great Neck, New York.
We are now hiring elementary and middle school teachers for 2024-2025 school year.
Our holistic approach to learning prioritizes the acquisition of academic and social skills rather than solely focus on test preparation.
Job responsibilities:
· Engage all students through various instructional modalities.
· Create differentiated lesson plans and assessments.
· Establish clear objectives for all lessons and communicate these objectives to the students.
· Demonstrate effective classroom management that allows students to thrive in their classroom.
· Post grades in a consistent manner.
· Communicate regularly and effectively with parents.
· Participate in professional development opportunities to stay abreast of current trends in education.
· Maintain a strong, personal attendance record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $4,500.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday

- Great Neck, NY 11021: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
